Maravilhoso!

Nunca escrevo resenha. Não acho que faça muito sentido perder o pouco tempo livre que eu tenho escrevendo textos sobre livros que eu li. Talvez isso apenas mascare minha preguiça. De qualquer modo, aqui estou eu. Esse vale a pena. Seja o fato que eu tenho filhos com a mesma idade que dos da autora (no período em que ela escreve o livro), seja pela linguagem bastante versátil, uso muito apropriado do humor, bom tempero com confidências pessoais e expressão de sentimentos, o que torna a leitura tão envolvente que chega a ser triste chegar ao parágrafo final e desfazer os laços com aquela família. Nesse ótimo nível de escrita, perdoam-se tranquilamente alguns deslizes como repetições de alguns conceitos e temas, e alguns raros descaminhos na narrativa. Recomendo com muito gosto, para quem tem filhos ou gostaria de conhecer a cultura francesa por dentro ou apenas quer passar um bom tempo lendo as desaventuras de uma família anglófona em Paris.
