Pulsing with the energy of Auster’s previous novel, Invisible, Sunset Park is as mythic as it is contemporary, as in love with baseball as it is with literature. It is above all, a story about love and forgiveness - not only among men and women, but also between fathers and sons.

Gostei muito de ter conhecido Paul Auster. Gostei da escrita dele, achei a maioria dos personagens muito interessante. Gostei da forma como até os personagens secundários são construídos com uma bagagem, o que contribui pro enriquecimento da história.
Gostei especialmente da relação do Miles e da Pilar com os livros. E da ligação dos outros personagens com a literatura, como o Morris, dono da Heller Books, uma editora que apoiava escritores novos e desconhecidos, e Renzo Michaelson, um escritor de relativo sucesso.

Mas da história especificamente eu não gostei. Paul Auster sim, Sunset Park não.
