O livro é fácil, e a narração da Skylark é uma delícia.
O livro passa em uma loja de vinil em St. Kilda, um bairro antigo e turístico de Melbourne. Mas o mais incrível e que mesmo você não conhecendo nada sobre o lugar, a autora consegue te apresentar muito bem o bairro. No meio do livro você já esta super familiarizado com o bairro, se sentido quase residente do lugar, haha.
Essa loja de vinil pertence a adorável família Martin que foi abandonada pela mãe, que resolveu largar tudo pra seguir sua carreira artística. Esse abandono impacta durante anos na vida de todos da familia, e com o passar da história, eles vão aprendo com a situações que acontecem na vida deles, a se livrar desse magoa que eles carregam e que tanto interfere nas suas vidas.
É um livro sobre auto-conhecimento, amor, perda, perdao, principalente de como deixar de ser um coadjuvante na sua própria vida e vive-la intensamente.
So acho que a autora foi um pouco infeliz com o final do livro. Parece que ficou cansada e atropelou o final. Apesar disso, é um livro fofíssimo!
