Já tinha lido esse livro em português e desde então quis me aproximar da linguagem única e rápida da Lauren, então peguei o audiobook e acompanhar o livro físico (e não poderia ser melhor). Lauren tem uma forma de escrever e falar tal únicas que tornaram a experiência de leitura ainda melhor.
A história do livro é bem inspiradora - e claramente baseada na sua história de atriz e nos bastidores desse mundo. Acompanhamos a vida de Franny na busca de uma carreira em NY quando seu prazo final para conseguir o trabalho já está nos últimos 6 meses. Nesse decorrer, dá pra perceber como a personagem cresce à medida que o tempo passa, apesar de todas as suas inseguranças internas.
Um ponto que amo desse livro são as referências literárias. Até mesmo o nome da personagem foi tirado de uma novela de JD Salinger. Me senti mais próxima da
própria Lauren quando li sobre isso!
