Assim como Serena,The Cove desenvolve a trama com estudo de personagens,silenciosos e misteriosos,em algum perdido na Carolina do Sul,e claro que ao final levara a tragédia.Aqui vemos a vida da solitária Lauren e seu irmão Hank serem afetadas com a chegada de um misterioso flautista mudo que pode ou nao ser um espião alemão.Ron Rash sabe vontar uma estória, embora as vezes entediante mas que compele,acho que o autor deve ter visitado nosso país,aqui também cita o Brasil.
