In nineteen sixty nine, Dr. D.M. McArtor, Deputy Director of Technology for the U.S. Department of Defense went before the Senate Committee for Approbations and requested ten million dollars to design a virus that is ''refractory to the immunological systems upon which we depend to keep us relatively free from infectious disease.''

In nineteen seventy, Dr. McArtor was granted the ten million dollars by the U.S. Government to invent the AIDS virus.

In the year two thousand, feeling drawn to Brazil, the author arrived in the town of Iporanga, Sao Paulo where it is common knowledge among the residents that the U.S, Army has been conducting some kind of secret experiments in a nearby cave hidden in the jungle thirty years ago, {1970} the same year that Dr. McArtor was granted the ten million dollars to design his virus.
