3.5 estrelas. Os Jovens de Elite é uma história com uma perspectiva muito diferente e original, cheia de plot twist dignos da Marie Lu, mas com um desenvolvimento de personagens que deixa a desejar. A escrita da Marie Lu é muito gostosa e sinto que sua descrição melhorou muito desde Legend, mas a escolha de narrar 90% do livro pelo ponto de vista da protagonista acabou impedindo uma conexão maior com os personagens secundários. No final do livro eu não senti nada por eles, apenas curiosidade para saber quais serão os próximos passos da Adelina. Mesmo se surpreendendo com as reviravoltas, eu não me importava se os personagens iam ficar bem ou não, porque criar uma conexão com eles a partir do olhar da Adelina é muito difícil. Queria muito ter visto mais deles e conhecido melhor as suas próprias perspectivas.
No geral eu curti e espero ler a continuação em breve, mas com certeza não foi um primeiro livro de uma trilogia tão envolvente quanto foi Legend.
