Ebenezer Scrooge é um velho rabugento bem como inacessível com todos, e nem sua família ou seu leal funcionário são excessões. Entretanto, após a visita de fantasmas na véspera de Natal, o homem passará a repensar suas ações e entender o real valor da vida.

É simplesmente esplêndido acompanhar uma história de Natal ambientada a quase dois séculos atrás, ainda mais com a cativante maneira de Charles Dickens escrever sobre os eventos sobrenaturais envolvidos— quem diria que fantasmas combinariam tanto com essa data festiva?
Scrooge foi pioneiro em estórias acompanhando a redenção do protagonista birrento graças ao Natal— já que, apesar de suas atitudes questionáveis é capaz de encantar-nos. Importante ressaltar que a forma qual o escritor organiza um diálogo diretamente com o leitor deixa a experiência ainda mais imersiva e agradável.

Encontro-me encantada por essa história, e com o final, que me deixou com o coração preenchido. Um atípico e bom conto natalino! "Os Fantasmas de Scrooge" foi uma adaptação marcante para minha infância, e não poderia estar mais satisfeita de realizar a leitura neste momento.
