Não rolou, apesar de gostar dos outros livros da autora

Dos três livros que li da Flynn (Sharp Objects, Gone Girl e Dark Places) foi o que menos gostei. O plot não é tão interessante mas a escrita é muito boa e fiquei curioso para saber o que realmente tinha acontecido.
O livro induz a acreditar na inocência do Ben (mas não consegui simpatizar com ele, não gostei dele nem do seu arco de amigos e da namorada Diondra). A questão do abuso sexual infantil foi tratada como mais um assunto para se chegar aquele final, mas não era realmente necessário (a gravidez de Diondra já seria suficiente para eles arquitetarem a fuga). Não gostei do final, Patty ter contratado a própria morte foi fora de personalidade e de caráter, faria mais sentido que Diondra tivesse feito tudo (como foi no caso de uma das irmãs).
