Por que não foram os ameríndios que colonizaram a Europa?

É um daqueles livros, como os do Harari ou, mais particularmente, do Gabo, que você não quer esquecer de nada e quer reler o quanto antes.

Esse trabalho, que recebeu um Pulitzer em 98, descreveu, com base no método comparativo, sem deixar de ser cientificamente embasado, como e por que os humanos se desenvolveram tão diferentemente em diversos lugares do mundo ao longo dos últimos 13 mil anos, i.e., desde o fim da última era glacial.

Perguntas fundamentais, que até hoje eu me limitava ao “porque sim”, me foram respondidas sob uma perspectiva científica, livre de preconceito e achismos.

Recomendadíssimo! Daqueles que mudam o leitor. Que sorte eu tenho de ter lido esse livro. Entrou na minha estante do lado do Harari.
