Esse é o primeiro livro de uma trilogia que abre o universo Modern Fairy Tales, onde tem a segunda trilogia chamada o povo do ar.
Esse livro apresenta a Kaye, uma fada trocada que crescer no mundo humano e acaba conhecendo o Roiben, um soldado da corte Unseelie, que aparece em seu caminho ferido e ela acaba ajudando.
Eu gostei muito desse livro, a construção meio sombria dos personagens, adorei a vibe, é uma coisa diferente das que geralmente vejo em livros sobre magia e eu adorei
