Em uma leitura, duas importantes e novas ações exercidas: finalmente terminei a minha primeira leitura em inglês (yey! 🤩) e, também pela primeira vez, consegui separar a obra do autor e apreciei esse trabalho primoroso sem nem lembrar das atitudes detestáveis que a sua escritora insiste em ter.

Nesta segunda aventura com Cormoran Strike, um detetive britânico em todos os sentidos e extremamente sagaz, e Robin, sua assistente que segue se tornando cada vez mais essencial nas investigações, entramos em um caso que começa a partir de um desaparecimento de Owen Quine, um excêntrico autor literário, mas que acaba se revelando em um assassinato bem macabro e perturbador.

Para os fãs de suspenses policiais, gênero capitaneado pela brilhante Agatha Christie, essa é uma excelente dica. Os estilos são diferentes, mas o desenrolar completamente inesperado e bem delineado ao longo da trama é igualmente irresistível. Foi bem interessante ler em inglês, senti a linguagem carregada de expressões profundamente britânicas me fez compreender ainda melhor a personalidade do Strike e dos demais personagens, mas tenho certeza de que em português a leitura seja tão deliciosa quanto. Como quase sempre digo por aqui: indico, sim, super! 🤣🥰
