Sweeney Todd é um livro obrigatório para os fãs de livros de terror/suspense/mistério, bem como também aos fãs de contos/folhetins vitorianos. É um livro indispensável para se ter em sua estante. Vale lembrar que até hoje nenhuma adaptação, tanto teatral quanto de cinema foram fieis ao conto original, sendo a maioria das adaptações inspiradas no musical da Broadway. Por essa razão, recomendo fortemente a leitura desse conto.
