Um bom livro de Doyle. É fácil notar seu apreço pela ciência, no modo como ele constrói sua fantasia ao mesmo tempo em que exalta a zoologia. O Professor Challenger é tão intragável quanto Sherlock, o que certamente deixa as coisas mais interessantes. O talento para a escrita do autor certamente é o que faz desta uma leitura satisfatória, não importa o quão saturados estejamos do gênero.
