Estupro/tentativa de estupro, pedofilia, feminismo são temas que eu não pretendo encontrar quando abro um livro com a mera finalidade de me entreter. Cheryl Holt errou a mão nessa história.

Duas contradições:
- Quando Gregory agarra Jane à força, Phillip imediatamente vê que aquilo é uma armação e se dispõe a esquecer o episódio.

- Quando Margaret arma uma cilada para Phillip e Jane flagra - uma parte apenas -, ela imediatamente assume que Phillip é um traidor falso. Mesmo com o fluxo de emoções que estava se formando entre eles, Jane, nem por um momento pensou em dar o benefício da dúvida.
