Stephen Farthing
Pintor, professor de desenho e professor-pesquisador da Fundação Rootstein Hopkins na University of the Arts, em Londres. Em 1990, em reconhecimento por seu talento, foi aclamado mestre pela Ruskin School of Drawing da Universidade de Oxford e tornou-se professor bolsista da St. Edmund Hall, em Oxford. Em 1998, elegeu-se membro da Royal Academy of Arts, de Londres. Farthing estudou primeiramente na St. Martin’s School of Art e concluiu seu mestrado em pintura pela Royal College of Art, ambas em Londres. Desde 1997 trabalha como professor de belas-artes. Suas pinturas estão expostas em galerias do mundo inteiro, em especial no Reino Unido, no Japão e na América do Sul.
