Jennifer Clement
Jennifer Clement, poeta e romancista, nasceu no México em 1960. Foi presidente do PEN México durante uma época em que o país era um dos lugares mais perigosos do mundo para a prática do jornalismo. Sob sua liderança, foram criados o inovador Manifesto das Mulheres Internacionais da PEN e o Manifesto da Democracia do Imaginação. É autora dos romances: Gun Love, Reze pelas Mulheres Roubadas, A True Story Based on Lies e The Poison That Fascinates. Ela também escreveu o livro de memórias clássico de culto Widow Basquiat (sobre o pintor Jean Michel Basquiat e a cidade de Nova York no início dos anos 80) e publicou vários volumes de poesia, incluindo 'The Next Stranger' com uma introdução de W.S.
