Uma história de aventura que traz elementos de fantasia nos 45 minutos do segundo tempo, o que eu achei um pouco estranho, mas é muito bem escrita, criativa e gostosa de ler.
Quando vi a sinopse pela primeira vez, fiquei curiosa para saber como seriam os diálogos,  já que os personagens se comunicam apenas por linguagem de sinais, mas a autora conseguiu fazer isto muito bem.
Existe um romance leve, mas o foco principal da história é a sobrevivência da vila.
