Uma biografia diferente

Momento histórico e personagem complexos que geram ainda hoje todo o tipo de paixões e ódios.

Achei interessante, e um pouco diferente, a forma como a autora, Ruth Scurr, lida com o famoso Robespierre.

Não vou me extender. Suficiente dizer que tanto ele de perdeu no processo de criação de uma nova sociedade. Um novo homem, como Rousseau propunha.

Assim como no caso de Rousseau, Robespierre misturou interesses pessoais com do Estado. Como se sempre fossem os mesmo. Um delírio. Aliás não faltaram erros na tentativa de transição de uma sociedade tradicional para uma sociedade 'iluminada' em poucos anos. Claro que daria errado.
