The series "Studies in the History of the Language Sciences" (SiHoLS) has been established as a companion to the journal "Historiographia Linguistica". The series intends to meet the revival of interest in the history of linguistic thought and to provide an organized reservoir of information concerning our heritage of linguistic ideas of more than two millenia.
