"There were dragons when I was a boy"

Foi muito emocionante acompanhar a saga de Soluço se tornando um herói da maneira mais difícil. Difícil também foi me despedir desses personagens tão queridos depois de tantas aventuras e gargalhadas ao longo de 12 livros.
Infelizmente, esse é o livro menos engraçado da saga. Sei que era de se esperar, com toda a situação super tensa da guerra e do Soluço todo estropiado, mas não posso dizer que não senti falta de mais humor.
Com a narrativa mais séria, o enredo foca em Soluço tentando conseguir a paz entre humanos e dragões e tentando não ser morto no processo. Foi bom que o esperado confronto final (ou melhor, confrontos) tenha realmente se mostrado o maior desafio do garoto até aqui e achei que a conclusão da história foi bem satisfatória, apesar de eu ter ficado esperando que um pouquinho mais fosse dito e mostrado no final. Pelo menos o epílogo poderia ser um pouquinho maior.
Enfim, o livro não ficou sendo meu preferido da saga, mas ainda é muito bom e coerente com o que a autora vinha propondo desde o início. Agora estou ansiosa para ver quanto do desfecho do livro vai estar no último filme.
