Niall Leonard
Cresceu em Newry na Irlanda do Norte. Se formou como roteirista e diretor na The UK National Film and Television School. Seu primeiro filme foi um curta chamado The Absolution de 1985. Desde então vem dirigindo filmes para cinema e TV, bem como, escrevendo roteiros (escreveu o roteiro de Cinquenta Tons Mais Escuros e Cinquenta Tons de Liberdade). Casou-se com a autora E.L. James (Trilogia Cinquenta Tons de Cinza) em 1987, tem dois filhos e vivie em West London.
