Pra mim, esse livro estar na categoria de lgbt é o mesmo que Mysterious Skin como obra literária - ambos falando sobre crianças que sofreram abusos de uma figura de autoridade (professores) e não conseguindo se enxergarem como vítimas, glorificando seus abusadores - como infelizmente é comum

Em Cracks eu fiquei enjoada. Pensei seriamente em abandonar no capítulo em que não só é descrito o estupro, mas tbm humilhações e outros abusos que a Fiamma passou. É preciso ter um estômago forte pra ler tanta nojeira sem querer desistir. Ao menos foi curtinho - fiz a leitura em um dia

O fato do livro ser narrado em primeira pessoa daquela forma, sugerindo que todas são culpadas, é bem interessante e só fui perceber a intenção da autora no final
