Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock was born and raised in Alaska. She worked many years fishing commercially with her family and as a reporter for Alaska Public Radio stations around the state. She was also the host and producer of “Independent Native News,” a daily newscast produced in Fairbanks, focusing on Alaska Natives, American Indians, and Canada’s First Nations. Her writing is inspired by her family’s four generations in Alaska.

Atraente no começo, mas perdeu o ritmo no meio

Entrei nessa leitura sem saber que era um livro YA, mas fui atraída pela história já no primeiro capítulo. Gostei bastante dos múltiplos pontos de vista e achei bem legal a divisão por estações do ano. Até a metade, eu estava muito envolvida, mas depois a leitura me perdeu um pouco, talvez porque nem todos os POVs tinham uma storyline tão interessante. Ainda assim, gostei bastante de acompanhar esses personagens em um cenário que eu pouco conhecia, então a leitura também foi muito educativa.
