Tenho esse livro na minha lista já tinha uns 5 anos acho kkkk finalmente eu li. A verdade é que nunca li a sinopse inteira, o que me cativou foi realmente essa questão do cartas de amor aos mortos e uma das coisas incríveis sobre esse livro são as celebridades para quem a Laurel escreve suas cartas.

Eu não esperava ele ser tão triste e pesado e isso me surpreendeu, por meio dessas cartas nós acompanhamos o processo de luto dessa personagem e nesse caminho o livro aborda questões sobre abuso sexual, agressão física, alcoolismo e basicamente a cultura americana que vemos muito nos filmes adolescentes americanos. 

De modo geral eu gostei, mas alguns temas não penso que foram tratados com a devida seriedade além de parecer ter uns 600 páginas, foi uma leitura bem densa para mim.
