Tom Perrotta's thirty-ish parents of young children are a varied and surprising bunch. They all raise their kids in the kind of quiet suburb where nothing ever seems to happen--until one eventful summer, when a convicted child molester moves back to town, and two parents begin an affair that goes further than either of them could ever have imagined.

no final, gostei da Mary Ann.

ai tinha tanto potencial na minha opinião. Para mim, essa ideia de uma cidade pequena com muitos personagens diferentes, é muito intrigante, só que eu achei que nunca chegou em lugar nenhum. Achei que os personagens foram bem contados, mas nunca teve nada muito entre eles que foi bem detalhado, tirando a Sarah e o Todd em que a relação deles foi muito interessante de ver, porque no final, eles não eram a pessoa um do outro pra sempre, mas sim para aquele verão.
