Josh, looking different every time Diane sees him, shows a stronger and stronger interest in his estranged father, leading to a disaster Diane can see coming, even as she is helpless to prevent it.

Diane's search to reconnect with her son and Jackie's search for her former routine life collide as they find themselves coming back to two words: 'KING CITY'. It is King City that holds the key to both of their mysteries, and their futures... if they can ever find it.

Qualquer pessoa que convive comigo sabe o quão obcecada eu sou por welcome to night vale, e esse livro é só mais uma comprovação do quanto eu amo esse universo.

Esse livro é genial! Apesar de sentir falta de mensagens menos sutis, eu adorei passar um tempo na minha velha conhecida cidadezinha no meio do deserto onde o sol é quente, a lua é bonita e luzes estranhas passam por nossas cabeças enquanto todos fingimos dormir. Bizarrices na dose certa, críticas certeiras e questionamentos extremamente relacionáveis. Jeff Cranor e Joseph Fink eu devo minha vida a vocês!!

E é aquilo né, apesar de o livro poder ser lido de forma independente, se você não conhece o podcast recomendo fortemente dar uma chance! É uma das minhas coisas favoritas no universo!
