Ohhhh meu deus...!!! ♥ ♥

Que coisa mais linda, fofa, incrível, perfeita, apaixonante, ... :')

Minha primeira leitura de um romance histórico (mereço uns bons tapas), e já posso dizer o seguinte, meu novo gênero favorito. Adorei esse livro, a premissa, os personagens, a escrita da autora, a química do casal, a tensão sexual (uia, foi intenso...), as palhaçadas, os sarcasmos, o humor, ahhhhh tudo ♥

Confesso que eu não conhecia a autora e fiquei impressionada! Já estou enlouquecida querendo ler outros livros dela, que parecem serem tão bons quanto esse aqui. Adorei a forma como ela trabalhou de forma fluída e única, tendo um mocinho que tem uma deficiência física, não ficou aquele dramalhão todo, e sim foi objetivo e direto.

Sendo um romance baseado em "A Bela e a Fera" (o motivo principal de ter começado esse livro! :D), a "Fera" aqui é Gabriel, um conde que sofreu um acidente durante a batalha naval e ficou cego, com isso sua família decide envia-lo para a sua antiga remota casa de infância para se "recuperar" e aprender a viver com a cegueira, todos, incluindo sua noiva, família e amigos o abandonaram. E já basta ele tentar se "adaptar" a sua cegueira, ainda chega uma enfermeira misteriosa de língua afiada e obstinada para infernizar a sua vida. Samantha chega a Fairchild Park para ensinar Gabriel como viver novamente, mesmo sendo desprezada e odiada.

Ambos são intrigantes e super bem escritos, mesmo quando Gabriel têm suas crises de inseguranças e quando está sendo um turrão que dá uma puta vontade de soca-lo, eu me apaixonei por ele. E Samantha, ah... adorei essa mocinha, ela é sagaz e determinada!

O enredo não é nada complexo, o ritmo dos acontecimentos entre os personagens foi incrível. Um livro espetacular, divertido e espirituoso.

E o desfecho?! Ahhhhhhhhh... um toque super especial, no qual não direi nadica de nada! Sendo muito surpreendente e inesperado (nunca iria imaginar...).
