Cole Kowalski ran away from his crush, gorgeous and straight Adam Garcia, when the man kissed him. Adam is straight, and though Cole wanted it, he was convinced the man was just acting on curious fantasies. So he left, not wanting to be the one to settle that curiosity. Years later, and with nowhere else to turn, Cole returns to Adam's house, an adult, and with a black eye from his now ex boyfriend. He doesn't trust anyone else, and could only think of coming to Adam. Adam is relieved to have Cole back, and furious that someone put their hands on him. He immediately welcomes Cole into his home, and is determined to show the man that the kiss they shared so many years ago was not some cruel curiosity, but that Adam was serious, and is still very much in love with Cole.
