Esta é uma das minhas frases favoritas deste livro, pois ela me lembra de uma das frases mais tocantes da minha série favorita. Jason pergunta: "Você promete se lembrar só das coisas boas, e se esquecer de tudo aquilo que foi ruim?", e a Janet diz: "Impossível. Todas as coisas foram boas".

Gostei muito desta história. Eu adivinhei a grande revelação um pouco cedo, mas isso não atrapalhou minha leitura. Sempre que uma nova peça do quebra-cabeça surgia, eu me interessava mais pelo livro.

O que mais gostei com certeza foi a narrativa do Ishiguro, que vem e passa como uma conversa entre leitor e personagem. A única crítica que tenho é ao infodump que rolou no final. Apesar de querer saber de tudo, é claro, eu acho que poderia ter sido feito de forma mais natural. Mesmo assim, eu gostei muito da leitura - e do audiobook, pois eu metade li e metade ouvi o livro.
