Tempos difíceis

Eu já amei Poldark, mas Demelza consegue ser melhor que o primeiro livro.
Aqui, já estamos mais acostumados com a história e personalidades dos personagens. Ross ainda é mais esquentadinho e cabeça-dura, e a sua luta pela sobrevivência é ainda mais dura. Quando ele pensa que finalmente as coisas estão entrando no trilho, elas desandam de novo e ele se vê lutando contra banqueiros, o preço injusto do cobre, os parentes, injustiças sociais diversas e até a fome.
A Demelza, aqui, é catalisadora de várias situações, algumas boas e outras nem tanto. Ela está as voltas com o nascimento da filha e lutando para entrar no mundo do marido, o que não é nem um pouco fácil, visto que antes de se casar ela era das classes sociais mais baixas, mas Demelza tem um força de vontade insuperáveis, e toda essa gana dela vai ser posta à prova.
Tempos difíceis esperam pelos Poldarks nesse livro, e não sei se no próximo as coisas vão melhorar. Espero que sim...
