A Must Read
This short book has an enormous quality: it shows us how the events really took place, in order for the reader to grasp each part the revolutionaries, the clergy and the nobility took for themselves. A quite diminute synthesis could go such as this: how the clergy and royalty bent over every single demand the third estament made. And, even so, they decided for the revolution, which, alas, begun much earlier, when the general assembly was to be closed, but the revolutionaries took it onwards on their own hands.
