Décimo-sétimo volume da saga Discworld e quinto do arco Rincewind.

Finalmente, temos a volta de Duasflor e a oportunidade de conhecer um pouco mais de seu Império. Desnecessário dizer que é uma paródia do Império Chinês com algumas pitadas do Império Mongol.

Aqui, face as informações revolucionários trazidas por Duasflor durante sua visita turística a Centrolândia, o Imperador decide matá-lo, levando a uma revoluta populacional e ao retorno de Cohen, o Bárbaro.

Há várias outras referências a países asiáticos e aos costumes que Rincewind ignora ou se atrapalha em entender. Palmas para quem achar a menção a Confúcio.
