Li em algum lugar que este livro de 207 páginas conta sua história em apenas 75 delas e o resto é enrolação e sou obrigada a concordar.

A história é meio que um clássico na literatura inglesa, e apesar de abordar tópicos interessantes e trazer a tona temas relevantes, não achei a obra tão incrível assim.
Não havia um único personagem nesta história que parecesse totalmente desenvolvido ou relacionável. A única pessoa que cheguei perto de entender foi “Helen”, uma mulher inteligente cujo intelecto e humor haviam se deteriorado muito com a responsabilidade de criar filhos pequenos com pouco apoio.

O conceito era bom mas acho que o autor pecou em forçar demais o extremo horror. Como o mundo de fora via o prédio louco? Essa é uma pergunta que eu também estou sem respostas.
