É um livro sobre a experiência do autor enquanto estudante da Universidade da Califórnia no início dos anos 2000.
É também um livro que denuncia o que todo estudante universitário brasileiro, minimamente lúcido, já sabe: se você não está com a maioria da patota ideológica, você é excluído.

É um livro cheio de gordura, infelizmente. Existem pontos bons, mas são arrastados. No final não há nuances, mas é revelador. Revelador e assustador.

Com toda a inocência do mundo acreditei no início que fosse exagero de Shapiro. Pensei que eram em nossas universidades que a intolerância era praxe, mas pude ver, pois há inúmeras fontes e não achismos, que o buraco é mais embaixo.
Muito mais embaixo.
