Muito bom! Fiquei gratamente surpresa, pois não esperava nada desse livro, nem estava interessada em lê-lo, foi a capa feia e o título que me levou a dar uma olhadinha. É um romance cristão, tem referências bíblicas no início dos capítulos, e individualmente seus personagens demonstram um grau maior ou menor de fé, inclusive alguns com falta de fé. Há um saudável questionamento das suas condições e situações no mundo. Porém nada tipo "sermão da montanha".
O que me chamou a atenção foi a coragem das mulheres, a força de caráter, a determinação numa época difícil para as mulheres. Essas sim eram empoderadas, corajosas e sem o mi, mi, mi feminista de hoje em dia, quando temos tudo a mão e relativamente fácil. Recomendo com satisfação.
