Não creio que possa ser considerado um romance. É uma história sobre um homem obcecado por outro e disposto a fazer qualquer coisa pra ter ele, incluindo usar meios nada seguros e que podem machucar outras pessoas incluindo a pessoa que ele quer ter. Apesar de não ser um romance, é uma obra que cumpre seu papel que é o de mostrar uma relação de abuso, e faz isso muito bem.
