Please note - this book is NOT a typical paranormal romance. No rage-beast shifters or alpha dogs here. It is, however, at its heart a romance set in the early 1960s, with a few intimate scenes between the hero and heroine as well as adult situations dealing with tragedy.

Normalmente não gosto de livros com esse tema, mas só fui perceber do que o livro se tratava quando já estava lendo..
A escrita é boa - mesmo sendo em terceira pessoa -, porém o livro não aprofunda muito nas explicações. O foco mesmo é o romance, entre Owen - jovem capaz de se transformar em lobo e em cervo - e Sarah, uma humana comum.
Há tantos personagens queridos no livro, que por mais clichê que ele possa ser, você continua lendo, querendo um final feliz para todos eles.
(P.S: A história de amor pode ser previsível, mas o que acontece com um dos personagens secundários é bem triste e chocante).
(P.S2: A mãe da Sarah é provavelmente uma das personagens mais queridas, impossível não adorá-la).
