Mr. Spikes was a young, ambitious man when he first decided to pack his bags and move away from the sleepy northern village of Heahtta to the busy industrial city of Tistow, leaving his nomadic roots and disapproving family behind. His grand plan was to make a name for himself and work his way to riches.

Little did he achieve in the first few months of his stay however. He tried his hardest to integrate into the alien culture as well as a number of different jobs, before he found himself under the prying eyes of the notorious Bowline gang and their leader, Victoria Loksley.

6 years later, he's found a new home at the Tistow docks, along with a gambling and drinking habit. His hard working hands have turned into nimble fingers capable of pinching a pouch off an unsuspecting toff.

But Tistow is not short on pickpockets and beggars. To make it out there on the streets, everyone has to have a gimmick.

And what a marvellous trick has he got up his sleeve indeed.
