Talvez na adolescência eu tivesse gostado do livro. Além de mostrar só o comecinho bem jovem da vida dela, mostra ela mais como uma princesinha imatura do que uma rainha. Agora penso até que o melhor do reinado dela veio mesmo do Rei.
A favor de Victoria se pode dizer que ela estava cercada de velhos até menos espertos que ela e um pensamento de época nada moderno.
