Nesta obra fascinante, o físico teórico Stephen Hawking clarifica as origens da física e astronomia modernas. Aos Ombros de Gigantes é uma obra incontornável para todos os interessados na forma como a ciência se desenvolve.

Este é um livro denso, nos outros livros Hawking acaba não explorando as equações e nem aprofunda matematicamente, já neste, são 1052 páginas recheadas de equações e comentários profundos sobre as obras desses 5 gigantes. Por isso, não recomendo que inicie a leitura do Hawking por esse livro, esse deve ser o último, e somente se quiser realmente se aprofundar na história da física e da astronomia.
