Doce, é assim que eu descreveria esse livro, estava precisando de uma história assim. Hooked é quase um conto de fadas moderno, Miranda é a mocinha que rala em 2 empregos e ainda faz faculdade, Jake é o melhor jogador de hóquei da sua equipe,bonito e rico. Um dos empregos da Miranda é como camareira de um hotel e lá que ela conhece o Jake que logo se encanta com ela. Sim, Jake logo se encanta com a Miranda, mas não temos nada de amor instantâneo, eles se tornam amigos antes de tornarem um casal, amei como o relacionamento deles foi sendo construído aos poucos. Hooked é uma história sem grandes dramas é uma leitura gostosa, amei que como a Brenda Rothert mostrou o mundo dos esportes, diria bastidores, não usou apenas o hóquei como pano de fundo para mostrar um jogador sarado, é bem engraçado todo ritual do Jake antes de cada jogo e se ganha o jogo pronto a superstição impera. rs
Gostei da escrita da Brenda Rothert esse foi o primeiro livro dela que eu leio e com certeza não será o ultimo.
