Donald Barthelme
Escritor estado-unidense conhecido por seus contos pós-modernistas. Trabalhou também como repórter para o jornal <i>Houston Post</i>, como editor chefe da revista <i>Location</i>, como diretor do Museu de Arte Contemporâneo de Houston, Texas (entre 1961 e 1962), e como professor em várias universidades. Foi cofundador da revista <i>Fiction</i>, junto com Mark Mirsky e a ajuda de Max e Marianne Frisch). Foi um dos impulsores do Programa de Escritura Criativa da Universidade de Houston.
