John Meade Falkner
John Meade Falkner (1858 - 1932) foi um romancista e poeta inglês, mais conhecido por seu romance de 1898, <i>Moonfleet</i>. Um empresário extremamente bem sucedido também, ele se tornou presidente do fabricante de braço Armstrong Whitworth durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial. Além de seus três romances e poesias, ele também escreveu três guias topográficos (Oxfordshire, Bath e Berkshire) e uma história de Oxfordshire.
