Born: 11th October 1984 Lives: Gold Coast, Australia Owns: One husband, two daughters and one naughty Australian Cattle Dog. From a young age my mother instilled in me a love of the written word. For as long as I could remember reading was my escape. I grew up in a small country town, and the library was my favourite place in the world. I could walk in those doors and know I was about to be transported away. I’d explore the enchanted faraway tree, or solve a mystery with Nancy Drew. Books had such a profound impact on my life, and when things were sucking the big one, I knew they’d be there for comfort and distraction. I never thought I’d make the transition to writing myself, but my stories just wouldn’t leave me alone. So, while I still love to read, now I also love to write.
