Escritor e músico norueguês premiado pelo Edgar Award. Formou-se na Escola Norueguesa de Economia e Administração de Empresas com uma licenciatura em Economia. Nesbø é célebre sobretudo por seus Romances de Crime sobre o Detetive Harry Hole, mas ele é também o principal vocalista e compositor da banda de Rock norueguês Di Derre.
