Continuo com meu hiperfoco em Shakespeare, na missão de bingar todas as obras. Essa comédia foi a mais legal que li até agora e estou absolutamente obcecada! A fera a ser domada nessa peça é uma mulher e a obra não deixa claro se a empreitada é, ou não, bem sucedida. Também não há consenso entre os estudiosos sobre se a mensagem da peça é simplesmente machista ou uma crítica aos papéis de gênero.
Fun fact: o filme "10 coisas que odeio em você" é baseado nela!
Eu achei essa peça genuinamente engraçada, especialmente os trocadilhos com teor sexual no cortejo do casal (ao contrário das anteriores, que envelheceram mal na minha opinião - contendo, por exemplo, piadas gordofóbicas).
