Até agora muito chato. A primeira parte mais parece uma cópia muito mal feita de Brigitte Jones. Espero, sinceramente, que o livro melhore.

Avaliação após terminar de ler: horrível. Simplesmente horrível. Me senti insultada com esse livro.
Provavelmente, este é um dos livros mais chatos que eu já li. Chato com C maiúsculo. O pior de tudo, a meu ver, não é nem mesmo o fato de o livro ser longo por demais (são mais de 500 páginas de uma ‘história’ que poderia ser contada em 200, se muito); ou o fato da história em si não ter interesse algúm; ou a sensação de que você não dá a mínima para nenhumas das personagens. Não. Tudo isso junto não é o que mais me incomodou no livro.

O que eu realmente odiei foi a tentativa forçada de fazer humor com coisas que certamente não são engraçadas. Ah, mas é humor negro, alguém pode dizer. Certo. Contudo não é qualquer um que sabe fazer humor negro e com certeza, Marian Keyes não sabe. Sabe quando alguém conta uma piada extremamente sem graça sobre um deficiente físico ou alguém com câncer e a gente fica com aquele sorriso amarelo no rosto, sentindo-se incomodado e até mesmo com vergonha pela pessoa? Pois então, em muitas partes do livro foi assim que me senti.

Honestamente, este livro foi uma total e completa decepção.
