Dois Mundos tão distantes

Aparentemente, nas cidades do interior dos Estados Unidos, só é possível encontrar um grande amor com a chegada de um forasteiro.
O problema dos irmãos Mancinkus é que mesmo tendo saído de Whynot para estudar eles não foram capazes de encontrar o grande amor e aprender a viver longe da família. De uma forma ou de outra, todos acabaram voltando.
Mas Larken está ferida. Aceita relacionamentos temporários que sabe que não vão virar compromisso porque acima de tudo quer vencer em Whynot e não pretende estar longe de sua família. Larken é a única veterinária da pequena cidade. Possui uma clínica que atende tanto os animais das fazendas desta região particularmente rural, como os pequenos animais domésticos.
E Jake McDaniels é um cara da cidade grande, administrador de empresas de tecnologia que resolveu investir numa fazenda no interior para ajudar a ex-cunhada, mas se apaixona pela curiosa veterinária que o salva das suas cabras.
Larken e Jake são apostas opostas, mas por diferentes motivos sentem uma grande conexão que os faz querer viverem uma vida a dois. Mas como diminuir a distância entre Whynot, NC e Chicago?
É o que vemos neste romance.
Dos 5 irmãos restam Larkin e Colt. A minha aposta anterior era Larkin, mas parece que Colt passa a frente e ela ficará por último. Certamente para fechar a coleção com chave de ouro.
