Escritor irlandês conhecido por ter escrito o clássico do terror 'Drácula', sua obra criou o mito literário do vampiro de hoje. Escreveu seu primeiro aos 16 anos. Tornou-se administrar do Royal Lyceum Theatre em Londres, trabalho que dividia com as histórias que escrevia, em geral com vampiros.
